Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

  4. Give bolts and separate a pulley of a bent shaft from a damper of tortional fluctuations.
  1. Give bolts of a pulley of a bent shaft (arrow) and a big central bolt of a damper of tortional fluctuations.
  1. Give a big bolt of a damper of tortional fluctuations. For keeping of a bent shaft from a provorachivaniye in the course of an otdavaniye of a bolt remove a starter (The head Sistema of electric equipment of the engine) and ask the assistant to jam the big screw-driver in a gear wreath of a flywheel / a driving disk.
  2. By means of a special stripper (see an illustration in the Head the Line six-cylinder engine) (ask in shops of automobile accessories) remove a damper of tortional fluctuations.

It is not necessary to use the stripper occupying regions of a damper. The stripper has to fasten on bolts of a pulley and put effort only to a damper nave. Track also that the forward nozzle of a stripper was on diameter more than diameter of an opening in a forward end face of a bent shaft.

  1. By means of the special tool or the big screw-driver take an epiploon from a cover of a distributive chain.

In order to avoid development of leaks try not to scratch and not to deform an epiploon nest.


  1. Extraction of a forward epiploon of a bent shaft by means of a special stripper - try not to damage a shaft pin surface.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Smooth out an epiploon nest, having removed all traces of material of old laying and corrosion from its surfaces. Establish a new epiploon in a nest by sponges (usually from sponges the broad spring) inside (to the engine is established). The small amount of oil applied on the outer edges of an epiploon will facilitate installation - however be not overzealous in greasing.
  2. Begin to knock an epiploon in a nest before its full landing in it by means of a big replaceable head and the hammer (see an illustration in the Head the Line six-cylinder engine).
