Side mirror

The electric drive of change of provision of glass of a rear-view mirror uses two motors in the work; one for adjustment in the vertical plane and one - in horizontal.

The switch of management is equipped with the selector device providing giving of food on the left or right side rear-view mirrors.   1. Attentively listen to the sounds made by motors of the drive of mirrors.
  2. If the motor hoots, but the mirror does not move, perhaps there is a malfunction of the mechanism of the drive in a mirror. For definition of a cause of failure remove a mirror and sort it.
  3. If mirrors do not function and motors of their drive do not make any sounds, check a condition of a safety lock on 15 A in the assembly block located on the right under the dashboard (Undressed Safety locks - the general information).
  4. If a safety lock as it should be, remove facing of the panel of switches (Head Kuzov) for ensuring access to the back party of the switch of management of the provision of mirrors without detachment of wires from it. Include ignitions (a key in position of ON) and check tension on the switch. Tension surely has to be present at one of plugs. If tension on the switch is not fixed, check conducting between the switch and the assembly block of safety locks for existence of breaks or short circuit.
  5. If tension takes place, disconnect the switch. Check conductivity of the switch in all its working provisions. In case of violation of conductivity replace the switch.
  6. Again connect the switch. Find the wire going from the switch to weight. Having left the switch connected, connect the wire equipped with clips between this wire and weight. If now the drive of a mirror functions normally, restore grounding.
  7. If the drive still does not function, remove a mirror and check existence of food on its wires. You make check at the included ignition (a key in position of ON) and the correct position of the selector switch. Carry out the switch of management of a mirror through all working provisions. At each of them (except neutral (OFF)) tension has to be present at one of the wires going from the switch to a mirror.
  1. Check presence of tension on the socket of connection of the switch with the mirror drive motor.
  1. If tension is absent at any position of the switch, check conducting between it and a mirror for existence of breaks and short circuits.
  2. If tension takes place, remove a mirror and check it, connecting directly to the battery. If the refusal takes place and now, replace a mirror.
