Description of the principle of action and diagnostics of the electric drive of lowering lifting of glasses

The electric drive of lowering lifting of glasses is provided with the electric motors fixed in the doorway of the car. The system consists of switches of management, motors (regulators), mechanisms of lowering lifting of glasses and connecting wires. At inclusion of ignition food moves through a safety lock No. 13 in distribution center of the power (PDC) on the chain breaker in the assembly block of safety locks, and then the plug 5 of the main switch.

Lowering lifting of glasses can be carried out by the driver by switching of the main switch of management, and also individually each of passengers by means of separate switches on each of doors. Glass of each of side doors of the car is equipped separate, reverse type with the motor. Position of the switch of management defines polarity of connection of the motor allowing to make respectively lowering, or glass lifting. Some systems are equipped with the relays operating giving of current to motors.

Each of motors is equipped with the separate breaker of a chain in addition to a safety lock and the breaker of a chain of protection of all contour. Such design allows to provide normal functioning of other glasses in case of failure of the drive of one of them.

Functioning of the electric drive of lowering lifting of glasses is possible only at the included ignition. Besides, by means of the blocking switch as a part of the main switch of the drive it is possible to deactivate switches of passenger doors. It is necessary to remember existence of such opportunities at diagnostics of malfunctions of the drive of glasses.

These procedures have very general character therefore if their carrying out does not allow to establish a cause of failure, it is necessary to drive away the car in dealer office of the company for performing full diagnostics of system.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the drive of lowering lifting of glasses does not function at all, check a condition of a safety lock and the breaker of a chain.
  2. If there is a failure of the drive only of glasses of back doors, or turning on of the drive is possible only from the main switch, check position of the blocking switch. If it is constantly short-circuited on blocking, replace it.
  3. Check existence of conductivity of an electrical wiring between switches and the panel of safety locks. In case of need make replacements.
  4. If the refusal of functioning of the main switch of the drive of glass of only one of doors takes place, try to start it from the switch on a door.

It does not belong to glass of a driver's door.

  1. If glass functions from one switch and does not react to switching of the second, check conductivity of the switch.
  2. If the switch as it should be, check conducting between it and the motor of the drive of the given glass for existence of short circuit.
  3. If glass does not react to switchings of both switches, remove the panel of an upholstery of a door and measure tension on the motor at various provisions of switches.
  4. If food on the motor moves, disconnect glass from the regulator (Head Kuzov). Move glass up-down manually, trying to reveal signs of jamming or mechanical damages. Also check the regulator for existence of signs of jamming and damage. If the regulator as it should be, and glass moves to doors smoothly, replace the motor. In case of identification of jammings make the corresponding mechanical repair, grease or replace defective components.
  5. If food on the motor does not move, check a conducting continuity between switches and the motor. For adequate conducting this check use the electric circuit.
  6. After carrying out the corresponding necessary repair check functioning of the electric drive of lowering lifting of glasses again.
